Producer

Dr. Elysabeth Nguyen

Dr. Nguyen is a serial entrepreneur, scientist, philanthropist, and the CEO of the Our Lady of La Vang (OLLV) Foundation. She is responsible for building the OLLV Shrine at Christ Cathedral in Orange County. Dr. Nguyen is a midwestern native now residing in Southern California with her family. She has over 25 years of executive management experience and feels this documentary will change the lives of many people. As the producer of the Our Lady at the Center film concept, she is hands on with contributors and corporate partners.

 

Dr. Nguyen strongly believes in the modern conversion to Catholicism through action. The Our Lady of La Vang apparition story truly touches her heart to the point of devotion for the Blessed Mother. She believes that the testimonies of many people can lead us to a better understanding of Mary's appearance in the Quang Tri province, Vietnam in the year 1798 and the numerous miracles that She  performed for the local villagers of Vietnam.

Writer/Director

Bradley Zint

Bradley Zint is the writer and director of “Our Lady at the Center.” He currently serves as the assistant director of communications for the Diocese of Orange. As a public relations professional with an extensive reporting, writing and videography background, Bradley’s insight and storytelling expertise help bring Orange County’s vibrant Catholic community to life. An award-winning journalist of more than 15 years, Bradley’s work has been recognized by state and regional press clubs for telling a variety of engaging narratives, from deeply sourced investigative work to lighthearted features. A classically trained musician, Bradley completed his first documentary, “Hazel is Back: Restoring an Icon,” about Christ Cathedral’s iconic Hazel Wright Organ, in 2022. The film is now distributed worldwide through the Gothic Catalog.

Producer

Dr. Scott Nguyen

Dr. Nguyen is an award-winning producer, who understands the full scope of the production process as well as the business side. While doing his medical studies at USC, he also minored in Cinema-Television which allowed him to make the right connections with film industry executives. With over 20 years of filmmaking experience, Dr. Nguyen continually improves his skillset and business acumen to help production companies scale at a steady pace. When he is not making movies, Dr. Nguyen runs Strata Health, a medical consulting firm in which he co-founded with his sister, Elysabeth. 


Having formerly worked at streaming giant, Netflix, Dr. Nguyen oversaw their  financial strategies and operations in the creative content and acquisitions department.  With a  keen eye for fiscal responsibility and a passion for the arts, he ensures that the  projects are not only artistically groundbreaking but also financially sustainable. His  role involves managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and collaborating closely  with the production teams to bring compelling stories to life within budgetary  constraints. He is dedicated to driving the financial success of any film and television projects while  fostering an environment that nurtures innovation and excellence in filmmaking.

Cinematographer

Chris Tran

Chris is the Owner, Creative Director & Lead Cinematographer of Chris Tran Visuals.  

 

As an independent full time filmmaker, Chris’ main focus is to capture stunning visuals for those that he works with 

 

Chris works with various Catholic Organizations to tell their story in a way that evokes senses of immersion, emotion and motivation.  Chris Tran Visuals has been a recurring independent collaborating partner with the Diocese of Orange and OLLV for the past 3 years.  

 

As a Vietnamese American Catholic, Chris strongly believes in the new evangelization in form of the digital media.  He hopes that this project will inspire the younger generation to embark on their faith journey.
